A Rush Of Mists

𝙉𝙞𝙠𝙤𝙣 𝙕7 / 𝙕6𝙞𝙞 / 𝙉𝙞𝙠𝙠𝙤𝙧 24 - 70𝙢𝙢 / 𝙏𝙖𝙢𝙧𝙤𝙣 𝙂2 70𝙢𝙢 - 200𝙢𝙢 / 𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙡 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙤𝙙 𝘾𝙁

Hiking up #rushupedge in the dark with thick fog all around, you begin to question your life choices for that day! I didn't think the height of this hill would clear this one but then I saw faint glimpses of the stars and as I approached the #lordsseat the highest point on Rushup, I saw breaks in the mists and could make out the top of Kinder and bits of Mam Tor.

There I waited for over an hour for the first light and it delivered! Amongst the clouds has to be one of my favourite places, my heads amongst the clouds daily might as well stick the body in there also!

I had a similar experience to this earlier in the year, that bank of fog raised up as the sun rose whilst this one sank and retreated.

Forever fascinating to watch, to experience and to photograph!
