This is a shot I've thought about and wanted for so long!
Pretty much all my free time has been spent photographing the #rut recently. I'm lucky to have some fabulous Deer parks within an hours drive in and around the Peak District.
Bradgate is one of my favourites, mainly because you can go at the crack of dawn! The forecast had tipped fog and mists, I almost went and did some landscape work but the Stags calls were too great!
When we arrived the park was like something in a fantasy film, fog and mists swirling around and pastel colours emerging with the new day. This fine chap was strutting around and as the sun came through the haze I knew what shot I wanted to get.
