𝙉𝙞𝙠𝙤𝙣 𝙕7 / 𝙉𝙞𝙠𝙠𝙤𝙧 𝙕 14 - 30𝙢𝙢 𝙎 𝙇𝙞𝙣𝙚 & 𝙉𝙞𝙠𝙠𝙤𝙧 200𝙢𝙢 - 500𝙢𝙢

I've been waiting in anticipation for the next photo event in the Peak and that is of course the #heather season! It's one of my favourite times of the year to see some of the landmarks of this gorgeous place amongst a sea of purple!

Yesterday I went up onto #derwentedge but my main goal was capturing some grouse and maybe a hare or two amongst the heather. That didn't go to plan as I didn't see a single one 🤣

The heather is looking brill now but our weather, as always can catch you out! I could see the rain clouds approaching fast from Edale and Kinder, a quick change into my rain jacket and it hit hard! Within minutes I was soaked and I sought shelter in the gritstone rocks this area is famous for!
